Easy Instructions to order your custom wall clock!! 1. Take a close up head shot of your pet or any photo of your choosing. If using:a. a digital camera make sure it's capable of at least 3.3 mega pixels. Before shooting, select the "fine" as opposed to "course" option--you may have to refer to your instruction manual. Let me explain, most cameras give you the option of storing more photos by shooting at a lower resolution called "course" or some such term. But, the quality is not great. Using the "fine" option uses more memory space per photo so you don't get to store as many photos, but for this purpose, you'll need to choose the higher "Fine" resolution option. Please note that the manual for your camera may use different terms than "fine" and "course." For viewing on a computer monitor, it doesn't matter which you choose, however, for printing your clock, anything less than the "Fine" setting will result in a very grainy photo on your clock. We will not print a low resolution photo as you will not be happy with the result unless you specify that you desire that effect. You may also have an option for "Bit-Map." Do not choose this setting as it takes up way too much space to store. Speaking of effects, if you want to add any effects to the photo--sepia, distortion... do so before sending it to us. And if you'd like, please crop the photo before sending it to us. Custom Copy: If you want to add your pet's name, date, or any note to the photo, do so now. Size it to a minimum of 6" width and when you go to store it, you will be given choices such as, "Low," "Medium," "High," or "Maximum." Select either the "High" or "Maximum" option as opposed to low resolution when you store it on your computer. Choose a different name to store it under so you don't overwrite your original photo. Next email it to jenn@waterloov.com as an attachment in jpg format (preferred). An email for you to submit your photo along with these instructions will be provided to you when we receive your payment--see below. Do not include the photo in the body of the email. When you send an email, the email program has an attachment option, select that option. Then it provides you with an option to insert "photo" or "file." Select "file". If you select "photo" it will include the photo on the body of the email. If you select "file," it will include your photo as an attachment file which is what we need. Place your paypal order below for either the 9" square or 9" round clock. After you receive our acknowledgement email confirming your order and shipping address, you then return that email with your photo attached. We prefer jpg format although we can accept tif, pcx, pic, tga, or pct formats.
